A village in Sapphaya district in Chai Nat has been flooded for weeks. Sapphaya district is hardest-hit, with 2,800 houses more than 1 metre under water. The disaster prevention and mitigation office of Chai Nat will today dispatch necessities to the residents of Wat Wang Sakhon community. About 200 riverside households in Manorom and Muang districts of Chai Nat are still flooded. The water level below the dam remains at 16.03m above MSL for the 5th day.
